MISSION
Concepts Foundation invests in programs and organizations that provide comprehensive social, educational, vocational, medical, psychological, housing, and rehabilitation services to underserved communities, and that are working on combating social problems such as homelessness, poverty, unemployment, and substance abuse.
PURPOSE
Guided by our mission, we pursue the following goals through our grantmaking:
- to assist charitable programs that address the specific social needs of traditionally underserved populations, including homeless individuals, women with children, ex-offenders, ethnic minorities, those suffering from addictive disorders and those involved with the criminal justice system.
- to develop and support effective programs for returning veterans that provide effective service systems that address PTSD, mental health, substance use disorders, homelessness, unemployment, criminal justice and other challenges faced by returning veterans; and;
- to support and strengthen organizations and programs that seek to improve the wellbeing of underserved populations by providing financial, management and technical assistance.
